My main mission as a musician-photographer is to explore the visual design of nature through processes of musical composition. I choose nature as my subject because it is the orignal source of beauty, and because it is quickly disappearing in a world increasingly technological. Today's urban life lacks the pure colors and innate beauty of nature, and one of the purposes of art and music is to keep us always aware of nature's presence. I found myself using musical processes because music composition places a great emphasis on repetition, and twelve-tone composition places a great importance on reflection as well.
